History of the Benazzoli Fulvio Winery
“The story of our production begun with our great grandfather in Trentino Alto Adige and today, Giulia and I are the fourth generation of wine producers. Since 2009 we decided to add something of us inside the family winery, bottling a small selection of our best wines. We are located in the area of Bardolino DOC wine, so our selection has mainly rosè wines such as Chiaretto Spumante and Chiaretto wine, but also our main red wine: Bardolino”.

The story of the Benazzoli Fulvio Winery begins in Trentino Alto Adige, more precisely in Val d’Adige, where the family carried on the winery production started with love by the great grandfather Onorio after the end of the Second World War.

At the beginning, their aim was to sell locally their wines in drums, produced with the grapes of the family vineyard. The great entrepreneurial ability of the grandfather Vittorio brought to the creation, in the ’60, of a real cellar in Serravalle all’Adige. Vittorio thanks to its sacrifice and self-denial transformed its passion into a philosophy and a lifestyle.
In the ’70, the family bought other territories in Pastrengo, in Veneto in the area of Bardolino wine.
The Benazzoli Fulvio winery today
Vittorio’s son, Fulvio, inherited his wine passion from the father; so he studied Oenology, being able to help, with its new competences, to the building and management of the new-born Pastrengo cellar, involving in the family business also his daughters. Since 2006 Claudia (graduated in Oenology) and Giulia (with a diploma in Agricolture), begins to take part to the business, founding in 2009 the new family brand “Benazzoli”, bottling a polished selection of their own wines.
The two sisters, recently opened the new Wine Shop of the Benazzoli winery of Pastrengo, among the vineyards of the Garda’s hinterland. It is a building perfectly furnished, elegant and stylish, with wide internal room and a summer veranda that overlooks the Bardolino vineyards.
The new building has been inaugurated in December of 2014 and is a direct shop of the products of the Benazzoli Fulvio winery. Here it is possible to participate to tastings or guided tours and even organize private events such as weddings, meetings or company dinners. All framed by the romantic background of Garda Lake.
Giulia told that thanks to Chiaretti wine the winery has had the chance to become famous and well appreciated all over the world. The winery participated many times to the Mondial du Rosé with its Chiaretto Spumante Brut. It is an international competition of the Rosè wines held in Cannes (France). The year 2009 and 2012 of this wine won the gold medal and the year 2010 won the silver medal.

The Wine Shop is located in Località Costiere 25 in Pastrengo. It is opened from Monday to Sunday with the following opening times:
Monday – Friday 9.00 – 12.00 | 14.30 – 18.30
Saturday 9.30 – 12.30 | 15.00 – 19.00
