Food & wine events in June in Veneto
In summer do not choose only between sea or mountain, there are numerous events for foodies each month in Italy, absolutely to not miss and that Enjoy Food & Wine is here to tell you.
Let’s start with Veneto, where the there is the amazing festival called “Spring of Prosecco”, an event where the main characters are the cities of Prosecco that are party dressed to present their products. The last exposition will be in San Pietro di Feletto where, from 27th May to 11th June there will be the 46th Exposition of Wines of the Hills in San Pietro di Feletto to present the different types of wines produced in the Prosecco hills. Besides the famous Conegliano Valdobbiadene DOCG, other less famous wines will be shown in all its splendour. You can participates to themed dinners or itinerant walks among the vineyards. One of the most important events in Italy about street food and craft beers: Finger Food Festival arrives in Mestre! It is an itinerant event that from march to august will touch different Italian cities, among which Mestre from 09th to 11th June at Baia del Forte Marghera for a three-days-event with regional specialities on nice Food Truck, among which “fried gnocco” from Bologna, tastes from Salento, chianina meat and “arrosticini” paired with the great Italian craft beers and excellent music. Food & wine events in June in Friuli Venezia Giulia
A great wine event that will take place in Cividale del Friuli (UD) in the days 03rd and 04 June: BorderWine. It is the first edition of this event but it can be already outlined as a success, given the theme of the event. It isn’t the usual tasting of Italian wines, but an event that goes over the border, because it will host producers of Friuli Venezia Giulia, from Slovenia and Austria as meeting point of different coutries to discover wines “of the past”. The exposition, that will be hosted in Castello Canussio, is a new point of reference for the craftsmen of Italy and the border countries to make famous a new culture of the wine. An event in pink at the Castle of Moniga del Garda (BS) in the days from 02nd to 04th June! The event Italia in Rosa celebrates its 10th anniversary with a programme rich in tastings dedicated to red wines of Italy. 194 labels displayed among which Chiaretto, classic rosé wine of the coast of Lake Garda that welcome its guests in this festival that promote and give value to the “drink pink”. Italia in Rosa works in collaboration with another important event Rosèxpo, a similar event that will take place in Lecce from 08 to 10 June.

Together with the release of the new Guide of Gambero Rosso “Oli d’Italia 2017”, save this date that talk about high-quality extra virgin olive oil: Olio in Città…del Gusto. the “Città del Gusto” in Rome, close to Villa Pamphili, host this tasting of the best oils in the Guide and a conference with expert in the field, to give value to one of the best products of our country. The event will take place Thursday 08th June from 18.30 to 23.00.
Food & wine event in June in Campania
Naples, the world capital of pizza couldn’t host the Napoli Pizza Village! From 17th to 25th June, in fact, the promenade Caracciolo will be the frame of the VII edition of the festival that become a moment of promotion of the territory through one of the main product of Italy. 50 among the most famous pizzerias and hundreds of professional pizza makers that will bake off more than 100.000 pizzas. But also free live concerts, expositions, conferences, meetings and entertainment for children.
Food & Wine events in June in Puglia
From 30th to 05th June the Castle of Sannicandro will be the location of the XII Fair of Wines and Oils from Southern Italy that talk about autochthone wines and oils of this area of Italy. The event is open to the public in the days 04th and 05th June, whereas the days before will be dedicated to meeting B2B and the concourse Wines of the South.
