After the summer break where countryside festivals reign, in the month of September we are spoilt of choice with wide range of festivals and events of national importance.
All over Italy
16th and 17th September, the breweries of Italy will open their doors to visitors, curious and beer lovers. Do not miss the opportunity to discover and visit the nearest brewery and meet the brewmasters that will show you all their passion talking about their products. Piedmont
From 01st to 10th September there will be the event ““Peperò – Fiera Nazionale del Peperone di Carmagnola”, the biggest event in Italy dedicated to just an agricultural product. A 10-days event of shows and workshops dedicated to the main product of this territory, the main character of the event: Peperone di Carmagnola. Entertainment for young and adult is assured. From 15th to 18th September, Bra will host the annual event “Cheese, le forme del latte” (in English, “Cheese, the shape of milk”. The event is the greatest event dedicated to the Italian high-quality dairy sector at an international level, attracting each year, thousand of visitors, that according to the data of 2015, came from 23 nations. Lombardy
The tastiest event of September is in Milan, we are talking about Sweety of Milan, that the week end of 16th and 17th September, will delight the palates of who will visit Palazzo delle Stelline. The event on the best confectionery of Italy is at its third edition and also this year will be possible to meet the biggest chef of the country at their stand and taste their creations. Lots of meeting, masterclass and workshops, to learn all the secrets of the world of confectionery.
Veneto
For the sixth year, Made in Malga will involve the streets of the city of Asiago, from 07th to 10th September. The exhibitors that are part of the shops of Asiago, will make part of a huge and lively open-air display-market where you can buy products and the excellences of the territory. 10th and 11 September, in the province of Venice, at Villa & Barchesssa XXV Aprile will take place the 10th edition of “La Grande Festa del Vino”. The Villa is dedicated to the tasting of national and other type of food both sweet and savory, whereas in the Barchessa visitors can taste international wines. There is Vinitaly and then there is Birritaly, the first festival of the microbrewery of Italy! It will take place in Castelfranco Veneto at the parking Ex Foro Boario in the days 15th, 16th and 17th September. Associazione Urlo, that organizes this event, thought about everything: great beers obviously with more than 40 breweries, an endless list of beers and a great food area, but also workshops and brew events. Friuli Venezia Giulia
From 07th to 10th September, the streets of Udine will welcome the producer of Friuli, Austria and Slovenia to taste the best products of this border lands, like “prosciutto San Daniele” and “prosciutto di Sauris”, cjarsons, frico, grappas and much more for the event Friuli Doc. Another interesting occasion to taste regional specialties, but not only, is the event “Gusti di Frontiera” that will take place from 22nd to 25th of September along the streets of Gorizia. The city is divided into themed areas, called “borgo” depending on the geographic area: Borgo Italia, Borgo Francia, Borgo Americhe… the only way to discover them, is to visit it!
Emilia Romagna
In the days 22nd, 23rd and 24th September, Palazzo Re Enzo in Bologna will become the framework of the event organized by the main Association of the Art of Italian Cold Cuts: Salsamentari. In these days, the best producers of cold cuts and cheese all over Italy will exhibit their delicacies in their booths at Salsamentarie. The event, attract more than 10.000 visitors per day thanks to its tasting and shows. Thus, not miss this event!
After an event, there’s another one. And thus, from the 25th September to 01st October Bologna will host the Bologna Cocktail Week, one week dedicated to the beverage through the participant places to discover the best bartender and tasting their artistic creations.
